Shuman, pardon our late response but between brothers and sisters, as a
House should, we've been discussing your question.
What is a Serpentlord? Undeniably, this is a question that has become
mulled over for years now. Without a doubt it can be said that we have
seen the common sense of what is NOT a Serpentlord: A liar, thief and
betrayer who uses the justification of false noble cause to cover-up his
own greed and incapability. You say we have become lost in a sea,
without guidance or direction. The ex-Hierarch, whose position is to
guide and direct us, therefore publicly announces his personal failures.
We accept that you have come to acknowledge that about yourself.
For your pure disloyalty and your inane belief that this was for a
better cause, a bit of your own old advice will be returned to you:
"I've been told that if you don't like what's going on, don't quit,
change it." and "Leadership is defined as "influencing people - by
providing purpose, direction and motivation - while operating to
accomplish the mission and improving the organization.""
It seems the only lesson taught and learned in your treachery is that
you have discovered that saying something then truly putting the effort
into your words are drastically different. It's far easier to be
eloquent then to work hard, isn't it? May you be hunted a dozen times
for every moment you say to yourself 'I tried' for in your wake you left
not a mark of ambition, guidance or leadership.
You may keep what you have stolen and tainted, may it haunt your
conscience if such a thing may be left within you. We will make not only
the effort to clean up after your mess but to rebuild and pick up what
you left lying on the ground since the month of your election - true
leadership.
Penned by my hand on the 25th of Valnuary, in the year 442 AF.
