To Flair and Bluef

Flair,

You are not the same man you were a century ago. While I harbor the
utmost respect for what you have done for the Occultists, there is no
way that your prior service can justify your actions over the past
decade and a half. From littering the Erisian Pyramid with Babelonian
pennons, to the attempted protection of House enemies against attacks by
our membership, it is painfully apparent that your only loyalty is to
Babel, first, last, and always.

Your Revolution has taken on a more fanatical tone as you have gradually
blinded yourself to everything but your Lord. His visage appears in your
breakfast tea, his voice can be heard on the wind. Every bird overhead,
every child in the street, every snowflake and sunbeam emonates his
godly essence as the most inane phenomenon seems to herald his return.
You have turned the search for Babel, once a brilliant effort contrived
in the name of Chaos, into hysterical whimsy hardly worth the mockery it
garners. What a glorious metamorphosis, my dear. Any dignity or respect
the Revolutionaries of Chaos once commanded has been sacrificed in
pursuit of your own madness. For this, you have no one but yourself to
blame.

Now, to my darling daughter Bluef,

I haven't the slightest idea where I went wrong in raising you. Perhaps
it was just -one- too many martinis in your evening bottle. I don't
know. Anyway, sweetheart, Mommy has but one request-- shut up. You
haven't a clue as to what you're talking about when it comes to the
House's ideas of Chaos, and you know it. The Occultists recognize that
Chaos is all-inclusive, but the House is not. Unlike your beloved
Revolutionaries, we have no need to scrape the bottom of the barrel for
membership. If you and Flair would like to associate yourselves with
traitors and miscreants, by all means, go ahead...I daresay, you fit
right in.

Rest assured that Apollodorus will be under the full protection of the
Occultists' most skilled warriors, and any who seek to harm him will
meet a swift and unpleasant end.

Flair, Bluef-- you and the Revolutionaries have the right to follow any
deity that you wish, but please don't expect the Occultists to take your
slander, your mockery, and your threats lying down. You were 'betrayed'
because you first betrayed us. Mere decades ago you would have said the
same yourselves.

Best of Luck in your future endeavors,

Amunet Stryganis
Demiurge of the Occultists

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Sarapin, in the year 432 AF.
