Go and make me prove a point, why don't you.

So, my motive is to reduce my fine and my time? Fine then.
I am not requesting a reduction of my fine, or a reduction of my time as
an enemy. I'll pay the time and the coin. After all, as the law stands,
that's my Just due.
But I will not pay the gold, nor stop crying out about this until I see,
signed by each Hierophant, and publicly delivered, an apology, and an
oath that the faulty laws currently in place are wrong, and need
changing, so that this won't happen in the future. This isn't about a
fine. It's not about anything other than what's right.
One argument I've heard, time and again, from forestrals lately is that
there is no Justice in Nature. There are also no monetary fines, nor are
there codified laws, either. Should Oakstone do away with those? The
understanding that one holds to Law should imply Justice.
I'd also like to mention that the careful reader of HELP OAKSTONE LAWS
will find an interesting contradiction that would make me ineligible to
be fined in the first place. Namely "These lands are part of Nature and
as such, may be owned by none. Thus they cannot be bought, sold, or
given away," spoken about the Nature that Oakstone protects. Since the
land was part of a subidivison plot, and HAD been bought and sold, my
reperations should, TECHNICALLY be to the owner of the plot, and
governed by the law of the city in which the plot resided, not by
Oakstone, as they, by their own admittance, have no jurisdiction over
personal property.
Obviously the above point is a load of humgii feces, and I have no
intention of getting out of a duly earned fine that way. Just thought
while Oakstone improves her codified laws, she ought also to clean up
vague statements like that. Nobody likes a loophole.
Still a friend of Nature,
