Silence

Dear Oppressor,

Im uncertain as to why youve mentioned me in your response to my sons
posting. Perhaps it is due to the lack of ingenuity on the part of the
Occultists these days -- After all we all know where you learned your
trick of enemying people in order to attempt to discredit them and their
ideas dont we? How are things in Ashtan these days?

But I digress. Let me clarify that I do not have my mothers penchant for
emasculating men. Nor am I so paranoid that I would need to lash about
at all sides, hitting friend as well as foe, to make sure I am left
standing. My ideas on Chaos are my own and are not forced onto anyone in
the Revolutionaries of Chaos or elsewhere. The beliefs of the
Revolutionaries have little to do with me at all, in fact. They have
been what they are since I was a newcomer. As for what the Occultists of
old think of my ideas, or those of the Revolution, I could care less and
so could my son. Revolution, dear Orklanishkal, is about transformation.
The very mission we have stated in CLANHELP BABEL explains this; we are
interested in our realms Chaotic beginnings, those pre-Erisian theories
and workings of Chaos that quite obviously have nothing to do with the
modern guild or House of the Occultists. We have never been affiliated
with any one House, in fact.

Now, perhaps the Occultists of old would have applauded your persecution
of our collective due to these facts. What I know of the present day
House, however, is that you are more split on this than you imagine.
After leaving on my own to honour a spiritual pact with my husband, you
enemied me without cause. The initial reason provided to me was breaking
the Oath by giving away House articles. Since the pact I was involved in
had actually rendered me quite dead by my husbands hands, broken and
bleeding beneath the sands of the desert corporeally and on a long quest
to find remains of our Lost Lord spiritually, such charges are quite
obviously falsified. During my long walk back from the Halls of Maya,
however, my house was robbed. Just as it has been entered into by your
membership on countless occasions since Ive returned. Now, please dont
be nave. Your membership knows the fraudulent ways in which you attempt
to badger and coerce people. My son and I choose to stand firm in our
spiritual beliefs and in the ideal of freedom. And the reality of the
situation is that you have simply realized you cannot force us to do
anything. So you label us idiots and lunatics in an attempt to harm the
reputation of the Revolutionaries by its obvious association with us. It
is a weak, pathetic, and easily recognizable effort. Your House members
see it. And so does the realm-at-large.

Finally, Id like to remind you that the Revolutionaries of Chaos do not
require spiritual devotion to Lord Babel. And they never have. The last
Prophet of Babel was an Ouranian tried and true. So calling into
question anyones religious affiliations is quite illogical and inept as
arguments go. Chaos is all-encompassing, all-inclusive and we will not
exclude people who thirst for knowledge of Chaos based solely on their
current spiritual affiliation.

He is, and was, and shall be again. If you wish to laugh until that
time, feel free. There are more than enough people in this realm who
know the truth of Him, about you, and about the House, and look forward
to the day when silence spreads across your body and your resistance to
change is muted once and for all.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Valnuary, in the year 430 AF.
