The Rebirth of a Revolution and the End of a Path

Greetings everyone,
Today is a day of mixed emotions for myself. For part of me is extremely
happy about what I see for the future, while another part is extremely
sad for what I am about to do. The Revolutionaries of Chaos (for a brief
description check out CLHELP BABEL) have always been devoted to seeking
Chaos in its truest form, one not polluted by false misconceptions of
superiority. As such, we are starting anew. A purging has taken place,
from which we will rise, like a phoenix from its ashes. We will be
stronger than ever before.
Despite all of this, I must announce that I am leaving the Occultists
House. I have been a member of this House for almost 47 years. For most
of this time, I never thought I'd see this day come, yet here it is. For
roughly the past year I have been persecuted by the administration of
the House. To be more specific Amunet, Orklanishkal, and Solymr. One of
these, the Demiurge, the other two, members of the Occult Council. What
finally brought them to do this? What was it that caused them to
threaten me with expulsion and being enemied to the Occultists? Well,
let me share with all of you.
As the Prophet of Babel, I have decided to take the Revolution in a
direction that the House deemed unfavourable. I decided that it would be
best to keep only those who were truly dedicated to the cause and were
willing to work with people from all walks of life. I even went as far
as saying that I wished for the Revolution to recruit people who at this
time these three look at in disdain. Though the reasons they do are
rather, uninclusive in my opinion. They don't like these people because
some, and only some of them, were ex-Summoners.
Now, I'm not saying that the Summoners was a good organization, or that
I liked it. However, I've never been willing to condemn someone just for
taking the path they believe is best for them. In an attempt to make me
change my mind in this decision, the Demiurge offered to throw House
support behind the Revolution. This was something I denied for the
simple reason that in order to get House support, all the
Revolutionaries who were not a part of the House would have to be
removed. Now, any of you who know about us, the Revolution is an
inclusive organization. Having people leave it for the simple reason
that they weren't in the House is entirely against what we stand for.
For any of you who know about our history, the House has never been
officially associated with the House. In the beginning, it may have
consisted of only House members, that has since changed, but it was
never endorsed by them.
What was done since I announced my decision to carry out my original
plan, Amunet, Orklanishkal and Solymr came to a decision. Seventy-two
years ago, Orklanishkal bought the clan that we now use. He then gave it
to Flair. However, because he bought it, he now demanded that I return
the clan to him or reimburse him the 500,000 gold he paid for the clan.
Amunet and Solymr backed him up in this decision. They both said that
not doing one of the two would be considered theft of a House member.
Something that is unacceptable in any circumstance. This was an
unreasonable request, one that I chose not to comply.
In the end, Orklanishkal relented, not wishing to get the House involved
in his petty squabbles but the issue still went on. A week or so ago,
Amunet spoke to me about this, even though Orklanishkal had dropped the
issue a few months ago, asking if I was planning on paying Orklanishkal
back. I told her the truth, that I didn't intend to pay him back. Solymr
even went so far as to threaten the Revolutionaries, saying that because
I am not paying Orklanishkal back the Revolutionaries will suffer. He
told me that he plans on getting a group together and robbing its
members until the money I "owed" Orklanishkal was paid back. Despite
Orklanishkal's action, I have no doubt in my mind that he still holds
some grudge against me and what I have done to the Revolution and how I
have wronged him.
Now, this is not all that has happened to me. Ever since I made my
announcement, Solymr has harassed me and insulted the organization I
head. In his opinion, I am no more than dirt under his shoe. He told me
straight to my face that the House wouldn't kick me out because they
didn't want to create a martyr. Instead they planned to keep me from
advancing further within the House. They would allow me to sit where I
am and watch, and I'd do nothing for they wouldn't allow it. Yet I ask
you, does this action not create a martyr? After all a martyr is one who
suffers for the sake of principle.
And now in this hour before I leave, I wish to apologize to those within
the House that I am hurting doing this, though I don't know how many of
you there are. I am sorry that you must work with people like these
three, people who judge a person merely by one moment in there past, who
won't look at the person as a whole. People who forsake the ideals of
Chaos so that they can seek power.
To those of you who wish to help seek out Chaos in full, here are some
words of advice. Embrace the Chaos all around you. Actively seek it out
and do so for Chaos, not for power. We all know that the desert sands
hold many Chaotic secrets. Who knows what it is they may hide and what
can be found within the ever changing sands? We are able to seek Him
out. He is, was and shall be again.
I hope to hear from you guys soon. My door is always open.
May Chaos Guide You All,
