Goodbye

It is too painful to make this long. Please refer to post 1361 and know that Alfdis's words were my own. The tide has finally come, and the sailor has chosen the sea. Achaea has been a paradise for the weary, weathered sailor, and the ignorant, self-conscious country bumpkin has become that self-assured lady who has had so much joy in delighting you all with her mannerisms. You have become closer than friends to me, and have shown me how wonderful and kind people really are. I have grown attached to the fascinating complexity of the human spirit, and I will contemplate what I've seen and learned in Achaea for the rest of my life. As for my Achaean journey along those treacherous paths to my destiny, I couldn't have done it without all of you. You all have brought forth the best of me. I return to life with a confidence and satisfaction which I never had before. I have discovered myself, and it is finally time for me to face life anew in all its freedom and hope. I *know* I will be happy, but I will look back
Best wishes to you all, and thank you for an unforgettable experience. Until we meet again--
Sirius, who loves you all -~/\~-
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Sarapin, in the year 213 AF.
Goodbye
