You asked why I consider Najara a heretic, but none of the things you
offered as possibilities were a good answer.
I consider her a Heretic because that is what the Infallible and Most
Exalted Sultan of Shallam, Alban, has deemed her when he cast her out.
Her and the other Heretics. Considering that the handful that was ousted
from the city was among Shallam's elite in terms of city organization,
involvement in affairs, involvement in city defense and in recruitment,
the only possible explanation for their ousting is that they are
Heretics of the highest degree. Otherwise, the government and that
Infallible and Exalted Sultan Alban would be absolutely wrong, insane
and would appear to have been stricken with a pretty bad bout of Chaos
in their brains. At least if one believes Chaos works in the way they
think and claim it does.
Since the Elysians and Alban can do no wrong, however, it is clear that
the exiles are Heretics and should be burned at the stake, hopefully
with their bodies strewn across the highways as an example for all
others.
