Nonsense, my old friend. The Priestess Keturah was well within her right
to do what she did. Haven't you read the new Codex? Why, there was even
debate to adopt it as an official document of Shallam, not just the
Church. Here...allow me to quote a passage for you from page 4:
While Good has a concrete definition, service to Good is not simple
black and white. If it were, sentience would be worth nothing. Mindless,
soulless golems could serve whichever side created them, at the whim of
the creator.
This is not the case. Life is not even just shades of grey, but a
wonderful mix of colours. Mistakes are made when one tries to
over-simplify matters.
For instance, "The ends do not justify the means" is an example of dogma
that requires careful examination. When the goal is Good, that goal is
the largest part of any equation. Avoiding any action that might be
labelled "Evil" when the gain to Good is equal or more, is actually a
disservice to Good.
As you can see, according to the Codex of Light it would be perfectly
acceptable for the priestess to hunt with the Occultist so long as the
proper authorities of Shallam deemed it to be so. However, for those of
us sad individuals who have spoken out against Shallam's leaders and
perhaps its Divine a time or two, then any reason is a "Good" reason
even if it does not hold much water.
