Protectors

Due to recent success, we are proud to announce that we will be
accepting bounties on thieves. Contact any known member of the
Protectors, and they will have your gold deposited. Half the bounty will
go to the fighter or fighters who succeed, and the other half will go
towards the fund reserved for novices who are badly robbed.

I would also like to point out that while I am Shallamese, our clan is
quite neutral. We currently have members from all six cities, and about
a dozen rogues. Participation in any and all ways once in the clans is
completely voluntary, meaning that a Mhaldorian, for instance, will not
be coerced into helping us track Mhaldorians.

Aside from the popular face, our main purpose is to teach novices
anti-theft. We have several great teachers, and are quickly building up
a collection of anti-theft scrolls. We also accept students into the
clan, and offer any novice anti-theft lessons without joining, if they
choose. Simply ask for a Protector on your CT or ask any known member.
The clan is also both secret and private, ensuring everyone's privacy.
It is virtually impossible to identify the clan members unless you
willingly give your name out.

I'd like to thank those that are already doing this, but I encourage
everyone to report thefts to us so that we can keep record of open-pk
status, and have a general idea of who the worst targets are. This is
helpful both from theft victims, and from city officials who share theft
record with us.

---

And finally, a word to thieves. The purpose of this clan is to prevent
theft. We are not setting out to harm you. Our goal is to never have to
harm a thief, by making sure that would-be cut-purses know that Sapience
is prepared for you.
