Brend's Introduction

I was born and raised in the city of Shallam. I was loved and cherished
as a child and even told by the priests of the city that my Atavian
wings were proof that one of my parents must have been an angel.
From an early age the forest was my playground, especially the Pash
valley with all of its soaring eagles.

Critters, as dad called them, was my first pull to the wild and
eventually the places that my beloved animals lived. I had rabbits,
chipmunks and mice as pets from an early age. Dad made me keep the
snakes and bats outside. "If you are going to keep those things, you
have to know their true lives in the wild", dad kept telling me, so off
I
went to investigate the natural setting of my snugglies.

The more I learned about their habitats the more I grew to love
everything about the forest. Tress could feed, cloth and protect me.
Plants can heal and feed me. Everything about the forest was so
magical and free.

As I grew into my teens, my dad knew it was time to talk to me about
leaving Shallam for the life of the grove. He talked to me about being
a protector of the forest. My luck was with me when I met a roaming
Sylvan who directed me to Sylvanic Fellowship

Thus you have Brend, an innocent but eager "wild child", learning and
yes making mistakes. I am proud and honored to be among you all.

Servant of the Wild

Brend

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Daedalan, in the year 427 AF.
