The blanket of the night sky, the void found deep within the earth or
the shadow that lingers in the brightest light. Darkness, like our
multiverse, reshapes itself continuously. Yet, it remains constant.
ABSOLUTE.

People genuinely _fear_ the Dark. Some have spent their entire lives
trying to destroy it. Perhaps, they feel the weight of it upon their
senses. A primordial predator that has no qualms about consuming them.
The instinct to fear what our flesh can not comprehend.

Flesh is the prison that we created for ourselves; born to worship the
physical and material. To KNOW one's self is to transcend the flesh (the
Below) by embracing the darkness of one's soul (the Above). This is one
of Twilight's primary philosophies.

Darkwalkers (Twilight's Children) are creatures of necessity and
opportunity. Their practicality is often perceived as EVIL. This is a
misconception bred by ignorance. Darkness is unbiased it uses ALL to its
advantage. Willing participantsor not. That is not to say that they are
incapable of love and compassion. Quite the opposite. The order of
Darkness is a Family, first and foremost. The expression of SELF is
encouraged and nurtured.

Darkness is a mystery to the sleeping world, the words we use to
describe it (void, abyss, obfuscate, etc.) all relate to the unknown,
where boundaries are obscured. The path of Awakening is a long one, but
those who have traveled (and endured) it will tell you of its wonders.

Twilight may not walk the realms, but the presence of Darkness will
always linger.
