The Skuldalid "Guild"

An intriguing proposal, Chuft. Of course, it rather requires the
co-operation of active thieves, of which I believe you have none. Some
dabblers, perhaps. Amateurs, fly-by-nights, hobbyists.

But neither I, nor any, I believe, in my House, are part of your - and I
hesitate to dignify your little clan with the word - Guild. And without
our co-operation, accounting as we do, for such a large proportion of
Sapiences swag, your clan is essentially dead in the water.

Let it be known that if you want items returned which are in my
possession, or which I can procure, then I, and only I, will negotiate
for their return. Let it be further known, that I look on Chufts little
game with disfavour. And I look forward to ensuring that those few
paltry items which she may obtain, end up in the hands of the true
thieves.

Thieves who risk their lives for illicit gain. We, whose nimble hands,
and dextrous fingers lighten the loads of the mighty and the downtrodden
alike. And we do not take kindly to scum skimming off our profits.

I will pay well for the identities of those in this clan. And I look
forward to making their lives a little moreinteresting.

Yours,
Tenebrus, King of Thieves; Proselytist and Cutpurse.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Glacian, in the year 425 AF.
