I find it odd that you mentioned one of your long time rivals within the
post of yours, especially when your citizens have in the past gone out
of their way to degrade and/or irritate us. When we asked for help after
the events following Thera's destruction, Shallam in their benevolence,
merely stated the Therans received what they deserved for aligning with
us. Our relations with Mhaldor haven't degenerated that far and should
the time ever come when they do, we'll protect our own interests rather
than alienating prospective allies.
