Greetings Sapience,
Many of you know me, but for various nefarious reasons. Today however, I
approach you with a different purpose then that which is in your pack.
The Order of Scarlatti invites you to take part in a Sapience wide
competition, held by myself and my fellow Muses, Ale and Kariana. The
competition is simple, we are seeking various writings composed by the
budding artists around the realms. The theme is 'Scarlatti's Fall from
Grace' and you are welcome to submit it in verse, formal prose or any
other written form. Our Lords actions are fairly well documented, and
there are many around who can help you discover more if you are
interested in such.
Entries are accepted for a year from this date, and after that the Muses
of Scarlatti will judge them for winners.
There will be three place winners, each with various prizes ranging from
credits and gold to herbs and venoms. Also, the overall winner will be
offered a place within the Order of Scarlatti if they so wish it, as
well as the credit prize.
At the end of the competition, we will also be hosting a festival at the
Temple of Arts in Caer'Witrin, where pictures, prose, poetry, music and
dancing will be displayed, people are also invited to perform at this
themselves, merely send a message to Ale, Kariana or myself.
More details concerning the festival will be announced as and when we
make them up!
To submit a piece of writing to the competition, mail it to one of the
three previously mentioned, if possible on a magically preserved letter.
Please remember to sign your art, because we're not all that good at
guessing.
Our Father may sleep, but Art never rests.
