My pre-emptive civil, but public reply is as follows:

Upon my return to the realm I began running shops for people. I talked
of buying a shopkeepers license amongst friends, and you being one of
them heard of the notion. My plan was either to purchase credits or to
bash the license into my possession. Then, as luck would have it a
kind-hearted friend offered, of her own volitions to gift me with the
needed gold to purchase the license. I asked her numerous times if she
was sure and she said she was. I said fortune permitting, I would make
an effort to repay her in some way some day. She replied that it was not
necessary.

Ten years later, this same individual, having left our House and City
(although until today I thought we were still friends) has decided she
never gifted me, rather that she loaned me. I must say this is quite a
shock to me, more so the fact that all my Housemates and friends knew of
the 'debt' long before I did. But then, this is how political
contortionists operate to degrade someone's reputation. I post only for
the reason of my own defense now, preemptively to demonstrate just how
much I despise blackmail and dishonest people.

Allo, I am not at all surprised as I once was as to why you have no
allies, little family, and seemingly no friends. I can see why so many
people have given me such horrid accounts of their relationships with
you while you were still a member of mutual organizations with me. I can
see that you have much more rage within your heart than I initially
thought, and that you are committed to your pledges as a normal man is
to their defecations. That is all fine, just keep your blackmail, your
lies, and your extortions away from me.

In truth, dear girl, I do hope you find peace and happiness and whatever
it is you think you seek. I am not angry with you. Rather, I pity you as
I pity all misguided souls rampant on the path you walk. Blackmail is an
unacceptable means of communication however, and such tactic does not
bode well with me. That said, I will be looking out for you, and I urge
my allies to do the same.

Push has come to shove, if you continue to push I will throw the first
punch.
