Nobi's Freedom

Well, as this is my first article, I shall make it short and sweet. I
should like to point out that there is a subtle, if not noticable,
difference between "criticism" and "bloodfeud". Criticism ought to be
constructive, and opinions ought to be expressive of the
opinion-former's feelings and viewpoints on the topic(s) or subject(s)
at hand. Declaring that "Durr I no like you speaky ways, if you speaky I
killy you" does not seem to be constructive in any way, nor does it
present a very englightening--nor, in fact, a very
intellectual--expression of one's views on Nobi's speech. While I myself
haven't heard Nobi's voice, I have come across very interesting patterns
of speech myself, and find them all to be most tolerable, and in many
cases amusing and delightful. If people would take the time to clean the
crud out of their minds and simply learn to accept others' speech
patterns, people might learn to derive some pleasure from the voices of
others, as they lend a bit of variety to our lives. Uniform silence
under threat of death, on the other hand, does -not- sound very amusing
at all.

Yours Truly,
Foehn
