Eleusis and the Forests

These past months I have made application for Citizenship within
Eleusis. I am not normally one to complain, but upon my rejection I made
enquiry into the reasoning of such, with Aztecia. After much discussion
she stated that I did not help the forests enough... this is the same
person I had informed of a possible impending raid, which she promptly
organised a defense of the village for.
I would like to elaborate on this and a few other points for those
others in the realms that hold the forests in their hearts. I was a
forrestal for half of my life, and loved the forest dearly despite my
inexperience in the realms. Half of my family now is still made up of
forrestals. During application there was no question made, nor
inclination to read further than my request to gather my family on
Eleusian soil by purchasing land.
I feel no need to state my application in full, but be assured that many
more points than that were raised, all of which towards helping Eleusis
and the forests to my utmost.
I would urge Eleusians to be cautious in this time when the aid of
others is required to help maintain their trade, and their very own way
of life, in helping to stop strip-harvesting. Exclusivity is a wonderful
thing as a village, but isolation is a dangerous policy.
I respectfully object to my rejection, and hope the forest paths open
other than when it is in need.
