Seraphi

Let this post stand as a warning to all who dare think that
overharvesting and stripharvesting in violation of Oakstone law is
something to aspire to.
Several months ago now Seraphi chose to follow this path, enraging many
forestals. The whole of Sapience wanted to know who was doing it and the
forestal houses banded together to track him down. He has since switched
class to Serpent in an attempt to continue theft of a different sort.
The problems, however, are twofold. First, he cannot set foot outside of
Mhaldor or the protection of his friends without dying to any of the
hundreds who are hunting his miserable walking corpse. He has indeed
become the weak he sought rise above, a cripple wholly reliant upon his
citymates and the guards of Mhaldor for protection.
And secondly, as a forest enemy, he has lost his ability to harvest
(though switching classes certainly sealed it) and earned the animosity
of the forests for a lifetime. The branches of the trees shall rain down
upon him and the wolves shall tear the flesh from his bones. If you want
terror, try living in fear of the very thing which sustains life --
Nature itself.
There are those that call me cruel -- I've heard the whispers come back
to my ears. I say to you I am not cruel, but my intention in this matter
should be clear: Hundreds of years from now when little forestals are
being tucked into bed late at night by Mommy and Daddy and they settle
in for storytime, I want them to be petrified out of their minds when
Daddy tells them, "Remember, if you overharvest, you'll end up like
Seraphi..."
