Shallam

Several Houses of Shallam have conspired to destroy shrines to the
Goddess of Vengeance. This act is, rather obviously, a hostile one.
Moreover, you have chosen Mhaldor as the site of your defiling. This
leads me to believe that you would see Her as a Goddess associated with
that city, rather than with Ashtan. You would cast Her as an evil
Goddess, opposed to your own ideals. Yet this is not so, as She has
clearly told you.

It has been rumoured that the Chosen of Vengeance have had a hand in
defiling the Mitran shrines. I state clearly this is not the case. I do
not believe that jumping to defile the shrines of any Divine whom
Shallam perceives as being unsupportive of Lady Mithraea is something
that She would approve of. And was it not, after all, your own act of
Vengeance?

Do you truly believe that the small matter of the Patronage of your city
has upset Her? For that it is a petty concern, and not one that would
stir Her ire.

Examine your actions, Shallam, and heed Her words.
