To Aegis, God of War, and whom it might concern.

I am but one person, a Tsol'aa, a Hashani and more, and I do not presume
to speak on behalf of Hashan, or to understand the mind of a Divine, and
neither am I usually one to waste my words here, as it more often than
not seems to be childish tantrums between people with more pride than
common sense.

However Your two latest posts here have left me a little puzzled in some
regards to war, and I was hoping that You might find the time to clarify
this, after all Your own scroll speak of passing on such knowledge.

Hashan as far as I have seen it defends itself against some rogue
elements from mainly Ashtan, why hasn't Hashan attacked Ashtan? Well I
can only speak for myself, but I don't recall any public declaration of
war from Ashtan, I might have missed it, but why attack Ashtan then if
they are not at war with us? Ashtan as a whole has done me no harm, nor
do they seem to wish me harm, as I and other Hashani have walked in and
out of Ashtan several times since this conflict started.

Now You speak of backbone, a very diplomatically way of putting it I
guess, let us look at the raiders, some dragons, several artified
fighters, and other people dedicated to fighting. Hashan as I said does
defend itself, at least I have seen it do so, and how many serious
fighters do Hashan boast of? Far less than many other cities, now what
takes more backbone? To defend yourself against better warriors, when
victory in your own words are near impossible? Or to slay a few helpless
guards, when you have the numbers to easily do so? If the latter is the
case I would like to point the raiders attention towards Lodi and Minia,
where they can truly show their mettle.

I can understand You wishing War, after all that is what your realm
incorporates. However I am puzzled about one thing, one of the largest
conflict in recent history involved the Vertani incursion, where Ashtan
refusing to bow down to the Vertani, fought them back and closed the
portal leading to this realm, amusingly enough with the aide of Hashan.
I would like Your thoughts on the closing of this portal though, if You
would be so kind, the portal did encourage war after all, on a large
scale even, yet I recall some of Your followers helping to close it.

This does seem to be a contradiction to me, why close something that
encourages war? And lets face it there have been a great deal of strife
over the years, but not that many wars, so if I may be as bold as to
ask, did You not wish for that war? If this is the case, why not? Or did
they merely act on their own behalf, as mortals tend to do? I was hoping
you might be as gracious as to clarify this, so I, and others, might
understand war better.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Valnuary, in the year 404 AF.
