I regret that You are so unhappy with Your first look at Eleusis after
such a long absence. The village has grown and changed, true. But to
think we turned our backs upon You?

Yes, many years after You entered Your slumber, we found ourselves in
need of active patronage and asked Lord Aegis to join us as our
representative to the Garden, and now Lady Kastalia. Many of us
individually belong to the orders of other Gods, as has always been the
case. But this does not change the ideals of the village which You
helped to nurture. We are not founded upon the worship of a single
Divinity, but upon our mutual love of nature and our dedication to its
defense.

We are grateful to You, Lady Demeter, for all You have given us. But we
forestals find ourselves confused upon Your return. We received cryptic
visions and acted in the way we thought best, yet we have only more
questions, and brief words from You that leave us unsatisfied.
