Your return

I apologize for the previous post. The scribe apparently thought I was
done when I was not, he has been fired.
With all due respect Lady Demeter, Lady Ouriana is right. For years we
yearned your return, but while you slumbered things had to be done.
Eleusis needed Divine help and protection during Your absence, and
therefore it turned to another diety. While I can see how this could be
a slap to the face to You, it had to be done. The city needed
protection, they probably would have been quick to reappoint you Patron
if You did it more diplomatically. But mortals are not automations, and
when rebuked for doing what they must with no real reasoning they can
see behind it, they become discontent, and that hurts Your cause. All of
the forestals of the land should be celebrating Your return to us, but
instead we are confused and anoxious, because You give us nothing but
harsh words and commands which seem to hurt the very things we are sworn
to protect. Fires seem to be exploding out from your altars, yet we are
only giving the command to protect them all, and to replace them all
even in cities where we couldn't possibly control territory for any
amount of time. I bear you no grudge, and I understand why You need the
shrines, but if they are causing fires, You cannot expect us to keep
them in the forests with no reasoning. We do not ask for much. We only
ask that You tell us Your mind so that we may know why we must do these
things, why changing patrons so that we can have protection was a
horrible thing, why the shrines are so important even when they are
burning down our ward, and our home. If things continue as they are, You
will be isolated and noone wants that.
