Your return

Written by: Ourania, Goddess of the Moon
Date: Saturday, September 24th, 2005
Addressed to: Demeter, the Green Lady

Foolish Goddess. Perhaps you slept too long, or not long enough, for
your words like poison fall and taint all that they touch with foul
untruth and wicked dishumour. Such a way to herald your return to your
once-chosen children, keepers of the forests and wild things you
apparently cherish! With these empty threats and reckless insults, you
ensure only your own swift and sure demise amongst the hearts and minds
of mortalkind - a trend that like a malicious blight already runs
rampant throughout the Garden.

Foolish Lady. To insult those to whom your realm and that which you
protect are so closely bound is an act you will not survive long to
regret. Repent your ill-spoken words, or prepare to know the wrath of
the powerful Lord of the Sea, the swift Goddess of Lakes and Rivers, and
the all-seeing Goddess of the Moon.

Ourania, the Nightcleaver

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Daedalan, in the year 403 AF.
