The conversion of Shallam

I am pleased to see that some members of Shallam have cast aside the
fetters of weakness and have begun to embrace the strength that comes
from oppressing the weak and inflicting pain and suffering on the
helpless. Truly, through such measures are able to rid ourselves of
the burden of conscience and begin our journey towards becoming greater
than we though possible! By adhering to the principles of Evil as
taught to us through the Seven Truths, even those who have endured
centuries of brainwashing can come into their own and revel in their
right to dominate their lessers through fear of pain and death!

I am proud to say that I witnessed such fortitude from a dwarven
lord of no small distinction, Brother Riashain a'Bertal of Shallam!
I have learned to respect those citizens of the Jewel like Brother
Riashain who have stopped living a lie and have realized that their
full potential can only be realized through strength!

I witnessed his strength as I walked the streets of the Atavian city
of Arcadia this very day! I oft times enjoy my visits to this cloud
city, it is home to a race of avid scholars who, unfortunately, wish
to be left in quiet contemplation and study, their children frolicing
in the streets with the beggars and the dogs. I spend a goodly
amount of my very valuable time attempting to persuade these denizens
that fealty to Mhaldor would bring them to far greater reward than
their ill-conceived alliances with the moral folk of the lands. Alas,
I am typically rebuffed, and am forced to make an example of them.
But not this day! The streets were quiet... most unusual. The ring
of children's laughter and the casual conversations of neighbors were
stifled. A pall hung over the air like a mist... I was enchanted.
I walked the streets for some time in order to discern what manner
of warrior could have so decimated this cities populace when
I came to the great Western stairs and witnessed the birth of Evil.

There, raining blow after blow upon an Arcadian archer was Riashain!
He pumped side kicks into the hapless guards with startling skill
and ferocity! Seldom have I seen a foe so overmatched! And to
his credit, Brother Riashain did not hesitate in the slightest
when the foolish soldier began begging for his life! There was
no pity in his eyes... none of the sympathy or compassion I've
seen so many times in the citizens of Shallam! Nay! Rather
I saw power! Strength! The willingness to beat a nearly
defenceless opponent to death with his bare hands! I can tell
you that in my estimation the goodly folk of Arcadia will think
twice ere daring to look this warrior in the eye again! By
realizing that his overwhelming might would cow the weaklings
of the sky city he has taken a great step towards becoming
more than he has been. I am only grateful that I was able
bear witness to this conversion and convey the significance
of it to all of you who are of like mind. Free yourselves of
the shackles of morality and take your place in strength and
assume your God-given right to dominate those below your
station and grind any who gainsay you beneath your heel!

Respectfully,

Syprius Dracrotalus
Nagaraja of Mhaldor
