Just my thought on the subject, I know you will probably not agree but I
feel like contributing to the monthly spam we get on this board.
Don't you think it's a bit sad having a "girls only" clan nowadays? I
mean, I don't understand it. I know that's not going to be a problem for
you, but I don't see the point.
It's not that I'm defending stupid sexist posts at all, but the fact is
your post looks kind of sexist to me. Maybe it's because of that "men,
keep out" sign, and I must confess I don't think you needed to add that.
I'm sure not many males around would look very nice in an amazon outfit,
whatever it is, so the odds of having a high amount of applies from my
people of my own gender.
Anyway, what I was trying to ask is: Do you think the best policy to
fight sexism is using sexism? Because, honestly, I haven't seen any
"males only" clan around. And I would be totally fine with it, of course
(I wouldn't apply either, you know, too much testosterone), but probably
the most radical wing of your amazon mates would probably be totally
horrified.
You want to become stronger, what's the point in having only women? You
mean women are better than men and thus we are not healthy for the
average?
Hmmm.. well, many of my most radical friends (females) would be slapping
me if I suggested the idea of joining that clan or others of similar
ideology. They don't think that's the best way to achieve equal rights.
Oh, and I would think exactly the same if it was about a "men only"
clan. Just my thoughts, as I said.
Farewell,
