Meditation Techniques

Greetings, potentially Stressed Ones.

The latest installment has been long in coming, for I have been
meditating on high for the past few years, contemplating the intricacies
of the universe, and bleating like a goat.

...or something. Most, if not all, of that, was a lie.

What is not a lie is that I come to you today with the penultimate form
of stress relief. That is to say, there is likely one better. I've just
yet to discover it. But when I do, you'll be the first to know.

You must find a body of water, be it a lake, river, or perhaps a large
comforting bath full of bubbles. I've found that the last works best,
but the first two work in a pinch.

Immerse yourself in this lovely water, hoping fervently that the water
is of a pleasant temperature. If such is not the case, then you'll just
have to adjust. Jump in full bodied, it tends to make things easier,
though not much.

In any case, while in this body of water, thinking, becoming one with
the universe, letting the universe become one with you. Behold, as
Rubber Ducky floats placidly upon the surface of the water, knowledge of
the cosmos in his eyes, a smile on his beak...and a squeak in his cheek.

You may protest, "But I do not have a rubber ducky to float upon the
placid surface of the water!". Such is unnecessary, as Rubber Ducky
comes when needed to relieve the stress. He cannot be put into simple
material form.


In essence, Rubber Ducky is everywhere, and nowhere.


Let yourself sink further into a trance, comforted in the water,
floating endlessly...listen to the wise quackings of Rubber Ducky, for
he shall lead you on the path to true meditative peace, tranquility, and
happiness.

Float on and on, down the river, or on the lake, or upon the bubbles,
listen to the quacks, soothing, soothing all your problems and concerns
away...quack quack.


We love you, Rubber Ducky.


Awaken, now, from your meditative trance, feeling better, happier, and
fully prepared to face the world and its rigours.
