Greetings Word Lovers and Dilettantes of Sapience,
It has come to my attention that my own Personal Journal, brimming with
poems and tales of high adventure, many of which can be found in the
Poetry News, will be on sale by Kiet in the upcoming months. I highly
encourage you all to bid a high price for this manuscript, as I feel
that it contains some of the finest Realm Literature available in
today's market.
The ever-honourable Kiet "found" my journal on the floor of the Ty
Beirdd Hall after it was taken from my pack and dropped there just prior
to my own untimely demise. He was generous enough to offer to return it
to me, and even suggested that I could name the price. Since "nothing"
was not an amenable amount, we reached am impass.
I believe this Journal is a one-of-a-kind artefact, and a must-have item
for any true collector of Achaean Lore or Trivial Scribblings. I truly
hope that Kiet is able to get the most gold possible for all the effort
he went through to acquire my journal. In truth, I am deeply touched and
flattered that he went out of his way to pry it from my stiff, dead
fingers; wipe the blood from the spine; and grasp it firmly in his hot
little hands as he raced away from the House Hall to escape the deluge
of Staffcasts.
With deepest sincerety,
Fortunat al'Dejan, the Songmage
Penned by my hand on the 20th of Aeguary, in the year 397 AF.
