Good People of Achaea,

It is with great joy and an uplifted heart that we give this
proclamation to all of Achaea. After much thought about the
welfare of our citizens and our city, we have produced a law
that will be the stepping stone to Ashtan's future.

The Archons have decided that from this day forth, Ashtan is
to be a sanctuary. Not just to her citizens, but to all who
respect her laws.

Within the city of Ashtan there shall be no aggressive acts
against others. Friendly spars are included in this. If you
wish to test your mettle against another, step out of the gates.
All who violate this law shall be branded enemies of the city
and not welcome in our walls.

With this proclamation, the Archons declare that ignorance of
the law is no excuse. The punishment for breaking it will be
swift. Leave your vendettas at the gate and the denizens of
Ashtan to a peaceful existence.

Those who do not break her laws are welcome within her walls.
