In recent memory, I recall Halios robbing Esther's shop when she had no
totem, and little to no knowledge of antitheft. I also recall a nameless
person emptying several of Mhaldor's largest shops. Perhaps watching the
denizens choke to your whip for all of these years has damaged your
brain, but giving warning of impending theft is not generally considered
a prudent decision if one actually wishes to steal somethihng.

Might I congratgulate you on your new position as well, I was afraid a
void of power in the Naga would lead to bad news for Sapience. Clearly
my fears were misplaced.
