A memorial

Addressed to: Xenomorph
I find it fitting that Xenomorph would be buried where he was.
He and I had a strange relationship, one I will always remember.
It started under some not-so-wonderful circumstances, but we
"battled" that out and came out better for it on the other side.
He was, some may say, "hot tempered". I would say he was passionate.
Passionate about his guild, his city, his friends, and his family.
Did I forget to mention his Order and his God?
I can understand how someone with his persona would fall as he did.
He was nothing if not fiercely loyal. I believe he was one of the
last Infernal knights, if not THE last one. It took him forever
to accept the Maldaathi, but when he did, it was added to his list
of loyalties. One that he held dear.
Now, this may sound strange coming from a man who has devoted his
life to aiding and allying with Shallam. However, that is how
we first met each other. The man had prowess and in my experiences,
he possessed honor no Maldaathi has ever shown, nor COULD ever show.
Not to mention that fierce fighting and savage loyalty. I see a
lot of him, in me. We just ended up on opposite "sides" of Light.
I use the present tense because I hope to see the man I had come to
respect so much in Mhaldor, walking the Halls of Sarapis to roam
with us once more.
Xenomorph, if your eyes shall befall this script, know that in
your time of absence, you will be missed. By someone who has
always respected you, and will now mourn you, and miss you
until your return.
Sarapis be with you comrade, I am one "Shallamite" who will miss you.
Penned by my hand on the 21st of Lupar, in the year 396 AF.
