Sad state of affairs

It is truly a sad state of affairs for Achaea. I hoped never
to see such a thing, but it has happened. People who I thought
were my friends forcing my wife to quit Achaea. My wife was
one of the most kind, caring, and generous persons in this
world, yet people chose to harass her for whatever reasons
they have. It makes me sick to see how cruel some people can
be. Merry never harmed another player here except in defense
of others, never said a bad word to another that wasn't deserved,
and yet she, not the murderers, and other hated people, was
the one forced to quit. What is even more sad is that the
people responsible were some who knew her best, and thus knew
that their actions would force her to quit. She may not have
helped Achaea financial by contributing monetarily, but she
put in much more than that with her time and effort. She
has helped many here in Achaea learn, and enjoy this land
even more. Some may say good riddance, for whatever reason,
but they cannot argue that intentionally forcing another
player to leave Achaea is wrong, and has put a deep scar upon
this land. I, for one, hope never to be witness to such as
this again.
