I had a friend back in Combat school who was a sniper for the
Shadowsnakes for the Achaean military.

He told me once, when I asked how he could coldly kill people like that.

His response?

"God loves them, but they don't love God. I just send them off to go
talk about it."

Qeustion not the brutal methods of the armed forces that protect you.
Their methods most likely work if you're still around to critisize it.
Warriors do what needs to be done, even when the solution is less than
poetic.
