plague, and comfort for the afflicted

Hail, Sapients.

I would like to share some verses, which may provide you with some
spiritual inspiration in these trying times. Remember that no matter
what the trial, you have the opportunity to improve your current state.
Cast off your fear, your mortal weaknesses, and rise above your mortal
condition.

Found in a text from which I have derived great inspiration:

----------
Fire shalt scorch the skies, oceans shalt be sucked dry, lakes and
rivers shalt be as poison, dead will plague the earth in life. Pain and
fear and untrust shalt rule the day. O' the fateful day.

The beast of the field shall lie down, the earth shalt consume their
flesh, their meat shalt be as the spoiled maggot. In that day shalt the
mortal join with the beast, as the beast, and the beast shall reign over
the earth.
----------

I know not whether these plague-ridden times are mere harbingers of
things to come, or even a sign of my Lord's guiding hand, but I will
certainly take great delight in the breadth and variety of your
suffering. Every boil, every pustule, every sweet morsel of agony that
you see in your loved ones' eyes, is but the merest taste of the agony
that awaits you.

Embrace the agony that the present affords, for in the Apocryphal times
to come, you will beg for the mercy that will never come.

In service,
Father Wulfen
Messiah of the Damned

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Miraman, in the year 394 AF.
