The Nature Wars

Even though from the point of view of the Garden it is utterly irrelevant what mortals think of the Nature Wars, I will clarify the events leading up to this battle for the sake of posterity and history.
From the times of the War of Humanity when gods fought gods, all gods save Sarapis have been bound by an oath prohibiting one of our number from using divine powers against another. For aeons the Oath of Reconciliation has held and been unquestioningly obeyed.
As Gaia grew in power (thanks mostly to her devout and loyal following who ought to be commended for their zeal), so too did her arrogance. When she used her divine power against Twilight, the Oath Reconciliation was irrevocably broken. The Garden was shocked by the fact that now all of us were potentially bared to assaults upon us by one of our fellow brethren. Thus, the Nature Wars began.
Not since the time of the War of Humanity has such a diverse group of gods formed a confederacy. Twilight, Aurora, Oneiros and I felt that the seriousness of the crime committed by the Oath Breaker was so great and the consequences of which were so far reaching that we combined our might to forever imprison the Oath Breaker.
Only time will tell what ramifications the Nature Wars and the Breaking of the Oath will have upon mortals. Yes, Portis, you should weep for the consequences that no doubt will evolve from the crimes of the Oath Breaker.
