Gaia's punishment

Written by: Twilight, God of Darkness
Date: Sunday, January 10th, 1999
Addressed to: Everyone

Two months ago, Gaia did slay me, catching me by surprise. Never
has a God been slain, and though I have always thought little of
her, I did not think she would stoop so low.

Unfortunately for her, she found herself without any support among
the rest of we Denizens of the Garden. Today then, Myself, Aurora,
Eris, and Oneiros stripped her of her defences, bound her in chains
of light, dimmed her power, and finally imprisoned her in the Gaian
Tree, which I have placed at her Grove.

Let this be a warning to any who would again be so arrogant. She
should have learned from the example of Lorielan, Khalas, and
Agatheis, but she was, apparently, not wise enough to do so.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Valnuary, in the year 209 AF.
