Houses

I'm a relativley new sentinel and normally I keep my mouth shut but I
figured I'd speak up on this one.
Firstly for those of you who don't know me I'm stubborn and I tend to
dislike change and I was rather peeved at the classing system; but that
has passed. However in this case the question is can we afford not to
become a house? I think the old order of guilds and such is leaving and
if we do not change with it in this then we will be left behind. Not
only is this bad for the guild but if houses start to gain advantages
and with no Sentinels on the council of Eleusis it will weaken the
forest's defenses as well; and I'm sure nobody wants to see that.
Secondly this housing system really won't harm the present way of the
guild. Obviously if we admit other classes; which I believe we should
just because they lack a sentinel's skills doesn't mean they lack our
love and devotion to the forest, some minor changes will have to be made
to some help files and requirements. This is not a bad thing finally you
can add some requirements you've felt needful and remove the ones you
feel are redudant and/or ineffective. As for a name change I don't
really see how it matters one way or the other your a sentinel at heart
who cares what you are called? As for combat requirements I don't know
if they need to be extensive but a little basic self defense never hurt
anybody. I believe we should learn enough to hold someone back for a
short period of time or at least enough to enable ourselves to flee
effectively
Thirdly Allow me to voice my only worry to this system. I'm a member of
no city and I probably never will be. I owe my allegiance to the forest
and my guild and thats has ever been enough for me. I'd hate to see city
requirements harm some of our best sentinels or even some aspiring ones
like myself.
