Forests and Herbs

Spoken like someone who hasn't been around a long time.
The reason there is no shortage of herbs is because Oakstone is so
protective of the forests ... and because a lot of new land has been
created in the last 50 years (and probably because the Gods decided that
the realm was getting crowded and increased their rate of growth, but
I'm not positive about that).
... and cuz no one fights anymore ...
Have you ever lived through an herb shortage? Try fighting an apostate
or an Occultist when the price of bellwort has shot through the room, or
a serpent when kola costs 3 fingers and your firstborn.
Don't simply assume that since there has always seemed to be enough
herbs that it's because there will always be plenty of herbs. Simple
supply and demand.
Man ... I remember when bloodroot was sold for credits ... those days
sucked!
