Why.

You've wrought havoc on large stretches of forest, bringing much grief
and pain to especially Druids and Sylvans, but really all those who care
for Nature. The forest cried out in anguish and its herbs were
decimated, if you were to find many clients in response to your ads,
lobelia and echinacea would become prized treasures and Seasone would
have the monopoly on health refills.
Why?
It's come to my attention that this was done to stop forestal attacks on
Mhaldor.
The way the mind works never ceases to amaze me, is it really necessary
to go through the motions of 1.) taking certain forestals' actions as
representative of the forestal community as a whole 2.) taking Nature
hostage to cause grief to said Community 3.) having said Community
respond by blaming an entire organization, likely Mhaldor for the
actions of one individual 4.) having a conflict escalating out of
proportion with likely no winners but Nature as its loser?
Of course now there are few circumstances under which you could cease
your behavior and not lose face, whereas the forestals in question must
keep up what they were doing unless they want to reinforce the
effectiveness of taking Nature hostage.

Meanwhile, I shall sit in my Grove and weep and tell my golem tales of
the grandeur of civilised society.
