Cowardice

Dear Kupo,

How are you friend? If this news post draws quarrel with you then so be
it. However I feel when a friend starts to walk the line of Hypocrisy
like others a little tough love is called for. You speak of Cowardice in
Talkaze. Which I will not deny whether she is infact a coward or not, my
experience with her has been in FFA's and Rampages where she joins to
not fight but run away? I don't understand it myself however. Take a
good look at your complaint.

Talkaze is a citizen of Mhaldor thus she serves Lord Sartan and Mhaldor.
When you attack those she serves and allegiance to, wouldn't it be more
cowardly to just sit there and let you? So she takes vengeance by
hurting those close to you because we all know those that hurt your wife
hurt you more than those who attack you. I'm not saying you can not have
friends in the cities you raid. However, you do so you should expect to
meet them on the field of battle. Friends and Allies doing battle is a
beautiful thing as Combat itself is an art. There is no battle more
exciting than one where the opponents respect each other and fight their
hardest in good sport.

I ask of you, if I were to raid Ashtan, which I would never think of
doing but this is hypothetical, if I were to raid Ashtan, would you sit
by while I slaughtered your citymates because you and I are friends? I
should think not. You must remember when you attack the allies of your
friend, your friend has to make a choice and you put them in that
position. Their choice is something they have to make because you
presented the situation and cowardice by not defending her city would be
far worse than evening the score by hurting those dear to you.

There are those I respect on the field of Combat and as people. And I
would nary lift a hand against them in hatred or disgust. However if it
were a friendly confrontation a battle it would be. Perhaps your post
should be about respect. If you have a friend in a city you wish to
raid, do so when your friend isn't present to have to make a choice.
Respect your friends and they will do the same for you.

And as I said, should this post draw whatever wrath you scribed last
post then so be it. Though know that this is not to disgrace you nor
make you look bad nor even defend Talkaze. This is just to point out
something in your anger you might have overlooked.

Respectfully,
Jago Verasall
