Knighthood

Dear Sir Antonius,

You seem to once more cheapen the title of Knighthood by claiming only a
guildmaster may bestow it. Which is simply not true. As you have so
eloquently put it, a Knight follows the virtues of a Knight in every
aspect of his or her life. A Knight will be a Knight whether he or she
be a Rogue or Guilded. Guilds do not control Knighthood, because
Knighthood is bigger than all the guilds. Knighthood isn't acquired by
the Organizations you belong to, but by the path you walk and take in
life. True being titled Sir or Dame does not make you a night. But being
appointed one does not make you one either. There are those
Dishonourable Knights that have been Knighted and reside within the
various Knight Guilds. I ask that all of you think of what a Knight
really is, and tell me where belonging to a Guild is within the Virtues.
Knights fight for many things, but they do it while upholding the
virtues of a Knight. Once more I say, Show me a man who follows the
virtues of a Knight in every aspect of his life, whether in public view
or private, and I will show you a Knight.

Respectfully,
Jago Verasall
