After having spoken with the leader of the Vertani forces, the mutual
hostility between Ashtan and the Vertani has been called to an end. It
is my hope, as well as Ashtan's, that we can move beyond this time and
hopefully start again.

Our previous grievances with the Vertan empire have been laid to rest
with their access to Sapience gone. As well, in an effort to improve
relations with those Vertani that remain, I have offered their leader
the Bastion's aide in developing their settlement when they choose a
locale.
