villages are indeed not such bloodthirsty serial killers (or, to
use the name these killers prefer, "bashers") as those of your
cities.

That I had included the villagers and other denizens of your
realms in the same group as your adventurers, citizens of your
fair cities (or not) - this was unfortunate, and I withdraw it.
