My Lord Hingar,

I must at this point extend condolences for what must certainly be a
tiring and incredibly frustrating stream of accusation, assumption and
threats. I understand that the loudest voices directed your way most
often take a disfavourable tone. That is a lot of pressure to bear so I
must apologize if any of my words seemed to communicate actual distress
or bitterness. I merely wished to show that some are still interested in
the "knowing" and "understanding" as opposed to bloodletting and
fingering hilts or staves or what have you.
My Lord challenges me to compose a list of non-shallamese that are not
largely murderers. Many communications from individuals were received to
this end and in truth I believe my Lord overlooks many organizations
dedicated to the preservation of life. The Order of Peace springs easily
to mind, the strivings of my own humble guild as well. Further, aside
from official organizations, how many in these realms open eyes for
nothing more than conversation, for gossip, to stand about with their
peers and be in the company of friends? How many are here only for baser
drives and are aware only for their carnal dalliances? How many hover on
the edge of waking dream awaiting a more peaceful times?
However, Let us ignore those individuals for a moment. My Lord sees much
violence and blood and rightly so, it is thrown at him and his people in
an obscuring wall that taints the land. I only ask that he consider the
peoples of this land, The peoples Kamleikan, Aeraithian, Manusha, Ibhir
Ness, Aran'Riod, Genji, Arcadia, el'Jazira, Tomacula, Tasur'ke, Moghedu,
Gorshire, Caer Witrin, the Halflings of Actar, the Grook of Ulangi, the
Tsol'aa of Aalen and many, many others. You asked me for more than a
few, I present this list to you my Lord, a more correct accounting of
the character of this realm than the petty strivings of a minority of
loudly spoken and overly self-represented mortals.
I extend my invitation again to you and yours to put aside your
arguments, validations and defenses from the vituperative clamour of
those howling at your gates and take up what I believe you and yours
came here for, an exploration of new lands and ideas. Perhaps the
discovery of common ground. You have no reason to trust us Lord Hingar,
and should you choose to only believe and perceive the worst of this
realm, I cannot blame you; but there can only be continued strife from
such a path.
