The pathway leading up to a temple is not a temple, nor part of a
temple, nor temple property. I have made this point multiple times,
and none has said otherwise. I simply recite your own laws to you.

We are not in anybody's temple. We have defiled nobody and nothing
by this placement.

And even so, we are negotiating with members of that deity's order
to see what might be done.
