Hail Rhaegar,
I'm sure you know who I am. After all, no more than two months ago you
attacked me with Xenomorph and Kaelin and attempted to kill me. I'm sure
I don't need to remind you that despite your repeated webbings, I
managed to escape.
Seeking retribution for your utter disregard for the concept of Honour,
I challenged you to a duel. You failed to respond, and I issued another
challenge to you. Still, I received no answer. When I tried to issue a
third challenge, I discovered that you had snubbed me.
Rhaegar, you have no Honour. You wear the title of a Knight, and are a
secretary in the Maldaathi. Yet you act unlike a Knight, and instead
hide like a coward. Is this what a Knight of Mhaldor is like? Is this
what a Maldaathi secretary is like? I had thought Lord Xenomorph to have
better judgement, but it appears he has appointed an Honourless coward
as a secretary in the Guild he leads.
Your failure to respond to my earlier challenges, and your snubbing of
me, shows you to have far less Honour, and far more fear, than a man who
declines a duel. Do I scare you so much that you can not even bear to
answer my challenge, can not bear to hear my voice?
Yet, I offer you one last chance to redeem yourself. To walk away from
this with some shred of the Honour you should possess intact. Will you
duel me? Or will you hide in Mhaldor like the coward you have shown
yourself to be?
You have two months. I await your response.
In the name of Valour,
Sir Antonius Agarwaen,
Knight of the Paladins and the Elysian Order.
Penned by my hand on the 9th of Aeguary, in the year 387 AF.
