Public News Post #14314

Death of our Priest

Written by: Hingar, a Vertani diplomat
Date: Monday, March 7th, 2005
Addressed to: Everyone

It saddens me to announce the death of the priest who stood
patiently outside of our fortress in the Dardanic plains, offering
the blessing of the Vertani language freely to all who asked.

Those who take this assignment are volunteers of a priestly order
composed almost entirely of scholars.

It is impossible to predict whether new volunteers will be found
for this post. Given that it has become a one-way trip for many of
ours, and that much to the rejoicing of many in Sapience - though
we know not all - we suspect that the number and frequency of
volunteers will of necessity be low.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Daedalan, in the year 387 AF.
