Shallam

Skarash,

I very rarely post, but to see the views of my city, and thereby
characterized as my own, twisted or at least misunderstood to such an
extent....I felt I should at least speak my own mind.

As far as I know, no one in Shallam thinks that "Thera deserved to be
destroyed". Yes, there are those who feel that by allying with Ashtan,
Thera sided itself with agressors, but nothing more.

The complete annihilation of a town with almost all of its inhabitants,
some of them children and others who have nothing to do with the
politics of the town, is wrong whether it would be Thera, Shastaan,
Petra, or any other town.

You have seen Sir Osis's post concerning the stance of the Elysians.
You've also seen a post made on behalf of the Sentaari guild, which of
course makes its home in Shallam.

As has been said before, Shallam makes a practice of looking before it
leaps. Perhaps this will be hurtful in some cases, but I believe that in
this instance, being absolutely sure diplomacy will not work is a
intelligent way to proceed.

In service to Valour,
Sir Lereas Sparrow, Elysian

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Sarapin, in the year 386 AF.
