Just to clarify a few things up about the cost for mapping out an area. It is per location not per map. For example, i give you a map with sw,s,se,s on it. this would cost ( at the regular price of 5 gold per location ) 20 gold, not 5. And by the way while i am writing i do two types of maps, directional and descriptional.
Directional includes information on how to get from one point to another while Descriptional includes mapping out an area and giving the names of each location (ex: Ivy Covered Archway), hazards, local wildlife and inhabitants, etc. Descriptional costs an additional 20 gold.
