After reading everyones posts and hearing the comments I have to ask,
why do you shallam keep bringing up what used to happen and not focusing
on current events? Yes we (being ashtan) do hunt and kill, but now that
we are trying to change that and make a good attempt at it your all
still so stubborne to accept the fact that in order to preserve Sapience
we are trying to ally with the villages and show them we are attempting
to change our ways. Will it take the vertani destroying another
innoncent town in responce to our "...guilty actions..." which I might
add all evidence points to them as being the first aggressors, to make
everyone see that we are trying to save Sapience, change our ways, and
ally everyone for a common cause?
Thera's destruction should not go in vein, we as a whole should ban
together and use this moment, this one time in history to turn around
and for once in a very very long time come together and fight what as I
hope you can all see, is a common enemy. Don't ask us why we couldn't
defend the city from this, we tried, no one else cared to help we are
all to blame for the destruction Thera was innocent, if the vertani
truly sought out to make us pay killing off Thera was not the answer yet
they still did anyway, and even as everyone says they are shocked and
horrified nothing is being done except to say "we will think about it"
... actions speak louder then words, and the vertani's actions should be
proof enough that the words they speak are a veil, hiding the true
nature of their occupation.
So I ask everyone this, what will it take for you to finally see what
they are going to do? and if you have already why won't you act, what
will it take, the Vertani to make somthing happen? will they need to
destroy petra? moghedu? jaru? shastaan? delos? the forests? what will it
take you all to see they are going to kill us if we don't stop blaming
each other and bickering with one another. I truly hope it does not take
somthing similar to what has happend to thera to make everyone turn and
finally say "yes we will fight the vertani" as a side note I hope the
smaller villages as well as the cities relize that if we cannot all stop
fighting with each other and join together to fight them we cannot win,
I hope that no more villages side with the vertani and that the ones
already with them change their minds and see what the vertani are doing
to their homeland, how they will if need be turn everything into rubble.
