You claim that this move was strategic, and you were right, but how can
you sit by knowing that they killed innocents. For as long as I've been
alive and longer your charge was to defend such innocents. STAND UP.
This is the last chance to prove to the world that you truly do defend
the innocents. STAND UP. Show the blood that flows through all of us
binds us. Ashtan. Mhaldor. Shallam. Hashan. Cyrene. Eleusis. Countless
villages. We are -all- part of this world. The Vertani came shouting
friendship, and have shown a desire to conquer. Once before has the
world stood together. Now has the time to stand fully united come upon
us again. Rarely is there a threat that can't be tackled alone, or with
a small group. The Vertani have shown their might to us by destroying
the village of Thera. They claim this an act of vengeance, but they know
nothing of such matters. They've rocked the world and it's time for us
to fix this damage. Stop looking at differences between us. Knights of
good and evil. Seekers of Occult knowledge, Shamanic knowledge, Church
knowledge, knowledges of good and evil. We are confronted with a threat
besides ourselves. They want us to be part of their Empire. To break and
tame us. We must unite or we will fall.

I couldn't believe the claims of Thera's fall until I walked among the
rubble that is left. It has fallen because they were allied to my city,
Ashtan. This "slap on the wrist" is among the most devastating things to
happen in this world. We must bring vengeance and justice upon those
that wrought it. The Vertani shall reap what they have sown.

My blood shall be shed as I shed the blood of the Vertani.
